This seminar is held in two parts – a morning session and an afternoon session.
The morning session introduces you to NZBC clause G12 Water supplies. We will discuss pipe sizing, backflow requirements and hot water solutions and the applicable valve sets. The solutions discussed may be applicable to offices/warehouses, small apartment blocks up to 4 levels and larger dwellings.
The afternoon session introduces you to NZBC clause G13 Foul water. Topics covered will include underslab drainage (applicable to all classes of buildings) and a number of plumbing stack systems. These systems are suitable for offices/warehouses, small apartment blocks up to 4 levels and larger dwellings. The focus is on exploring the design options available within G13/AS3, being AS/NZS 3500.2:2018 Plumbing and drainage – Part 2: Sanitary plumbing and drainage.
At the end of the sessions, participants will be more familiar with the various options available to solve the common issues that arise around water supply and foul water disposal design and consenting issues.
Architects, architectural designers, builders and BCOs involved in the construction of slab-on-ground building of all types, offices/warehouses with a ground and first floor, small apartment blocks up to 4 levels, residential dwellings of all types.
